Lock Lifter
A locklifter is the part of the coupler assembly that pushes the lock when the uncoupling lever is operated. It is also a critical component for anticreep protection to prevent unintentional uncoupling events.
When the coupler operating lever is actuated, the eye of the operating lever (cut lever) engages with the connector, which allows the connector prong to rotate up into the lock hole of the coupler. This action causes the toggle to push the lock up, allowing the knuckle to open.
